Captain Marcel was knowledgeable, hardworking, and kept us on fish. We put three solid wahoo in the boat and had two other big strikes that got away. He was flexible with our schedule and even helped get our catch cleaned and prepared at a local restaurant. An unforgettable experience—highly recommend Captain Marcel and Elimar Fishing for a true offshore adventure!

Great way to experience fishing in Bayahibe! The captain and crew were extremely friendly and worked hard to both find fish and make sure everyone had a great time. Drinks stayed cold, the fish were handled humanely, and the entire experience was excellent. Highly recommend!

Everything was awesome! Marcel set up our taxi and for $15 they cleaned all six mahi-mahi — we ended up with around 7 kg of fillets.

It was a successful fishing trip with 6 strikes and 4 mahi-mahi landed in 4 hours. According to the website, I understood the trip to cost $299.99, but at the end we were asked to pay $352.00. We eventually agreed on $340.00, as they claimed the website pricing was not clearly stated. The taxi ride from the Catalonia Hotel to the Bayahibe harbor cost $10 each way.

Very easy to find the boat and captain. We set sail quickly and hooked our first fish within an hour. Great time and a solid boat. Marcell was knowledgeable, helpful, and made the experience enjoyable. I would definitely book again the next time I'm in the DR.

Marcel and his crewmate worked hard to get us on fish, and it paid off! We landed two mahi mahi and two small tuna, lost three more mahi mahi, and even had a wahoo hit early in the trip. Plenty of drinks on board and a fun atmosphere the whole time. We definitely recommend Elimar Fishing Tours — such a great experience!
